- Evaluation score: 89 / 100
- Maximum grant: €250,000
Aim
TechHER helps disadvantaged women build digital entrepreneurship skills. The project uses virtual reality applications, blockchain-based certification and an e-learning platform, so that participants gain the knowledge, skills and confidence they need in technology and entrepreneurship.
Why it matters
Women remain under-represented in technology and digital entrepreneurship. According to recent European Commission reports, women make up less than 20% of the digital sector. That is a question of equal opportunity and also of economic potential left unused.
Activities
- Training modules: flexible, accessible learning materials designed around participants’ needs.
- Mentoring: pairing women with experienced digital entrepreneurs.
- VR and simulation: practical learning through realistic scenarios.
- International cooperation: joint work with partners across Europe.
- Networking events: international meetings where participants can build new partnerships.
Expected impact
- Disadvantaged women gain competence in digital entrepreneurship.
- Women become more visible in technology locally and internationally.
- Stronger participation of women in economic life.
- Social inclusion and diversity are promoted.
