Game’Lusive Education: an Erasmus+ project that teaches through play

Game-based, interactive and inclusive digital learning for children aged 6 to 13.

As education moves beyond the classic classroom, it becomes more inclusive, interactive and enjoyable. Game’Lusive Education is an Erasmus+ project at the centre of that shift. It enriches learning for children aged 6 to 13 with game-based, interactive digital experiences.

Why “Game’Lusive”?

Traditional methods can struggle to hold children’s attention. The project uses gamification to make learning more engaging. Here, games are learning tools that build cognitive skills, emotional intelligence and problem solving.

The games

  • Journey to School: pupils make everyday decisions to get their character to school, practising problem solving and life skills.
  • Emotion Explorer: helps children recognise different emotions and build empathy.
  • Animal Detectives: an animal-themed card game for memory and matching.
  • Good or Bad?: a choice game about good and bad decisions in different situations.
  • Shopping Adventure: planning goals and making sensible choices while shopping.
  • Sentence Tower: building sentences from words.

Each game is designed as a pedagogical tool that raises motivation, gives a sense of achievement and puts the learner at the centre.

Inclusive, interactive learning

The name blends “game” and “inclusive”. The goal is to make learning enjoyable and to include children with different learning styles, supporting equal opportunity in education.

Under Erasmus+

Game’Lusive Education is an international cooperation supported by Erasmus+. Teachers, educators and developers share good practice in game-based learning through the platform, and the games keep improving.
